How to use

Many uses for baking sodaIn the kitchen - To wash fruit and vegetables: one teaspoon per liter of water. Leave to act for 10 minutes, then rinse with running water. - To facilitate the leavening of baked goods: add, in addition to the yeast, the tip of a spoonful of bicarbonate to the other ingredients. - For cooking boiled meats (makes the meat more tender): 1 pinch of bicarbonate in the cooking water. - To eliminate unpleasant odors from the dishwasher: put a teaspoon of bicarbonate in the bottom of the dishwasher before washing. - To remove encrusted food from pots and pans: pour a layer of bicarbonate, add a little water, leave to act for 15 minutes and rinse. For the home: - To reduce the formation of limescale and encrustations: add 1 tablespoon of bicarbonate to the washing machine detergent with each wash. - To polish silverware: dampen a soft cloth, sprinkle a pinch of bicarbonate on it and gently rub the objects to be polished. - For the daily hygiene of sinks, basins, tubs and showers. - For cleaning combs and brushes.- As an odor absorber: place an open container (e.g., a glass or cup) filled with bicarbonate of soda in the refrigerator, in closed cabinets, or in the shoe rack. Replace every two months. Personal hygiene: For a relaxing bath: pour 200g into the tub.- For a softening foot bath: 2 tablespoons per liter of very hot water.
